  • I've bodged loads of other ways in the past, this one just works. Now need to get @mdcc_tester to make some 6:1 aero spacers for it...

  • I also have an X-lab torpedo set up which I didn't like so much. It did however come with aero spacers for raising the bottle cage.

(this was the first link I found but I'm sure they're available in the UK too)

    Not 6:1 though...

Bizarrely, I do have a custom Fibrelyte thing for mounting a cage on top of a stack of Ventus spacers, as I was going down the stem cap route (with a custom stem cap for Mk1 Ventus) before I narrowed my elbows too much to make BTA feasible. Would need a custom stem cap with threaded holes 20mm apart and inclined at ~73° to make it work, obviously making such a cap for a Mk2 Ventus would be a piece of piss compared with trying to match the profile of the integrated stem on the Mk1.

  • This is the bridge sketch, big hole in the middle for the K-Edge Garmin insert carrier. The design uses one of the Ventus spacers as the handle to twist the insert/insert carrier, as there isn't room between the bars to twist the Garmin into a fixed insert.

  • What holds the insert into the bridge?

  • Magnets.

  • What holds the insert into the bridge?

When there's a spacer attached to the lug under the insert holder, it overlaps the hole.

  • Swish!!

    (Very cool)

  • Nice...

  • clean! Reminds me of wiggo's hour record bike .. what crankset?

  • FSA Vigorellis

  • Why don't you put the light in the tribar ??? Then you can have a back brake

  • Don't need a back brake. The frame won't be drilled for one anyway.

  • Best of luck trying for find a light that'll fit the Ventus Base bar. Currently using a dinky little Moon gem under one of the extensions.

  • I remember spotting the photog before this and thinking 'shit, better look aero'

  • Is it a bird? Is it a plane? ...

Are you always that stretched out?

  • Lolz no.

  • Nice legs.

PS Hook me up with some Vigorelli plz.

  • That toptube bag and bottle make me think.

    And no overshoes.
Overshoes would have got you under 4h!

  • That toptube bag and bottle make me think...

    Cervelo say "maybe, maybe not"...

And with those shoes, I'd think tape over the front would beat most overshoes.

  • No helper problems. Would rather lose the saddle bottle but had no choice. Doubt the TT bag costs me much, if anything. Follows quite nicely from the stem so probably pretty neutral.

Overshoes are debatable. Wintunnel claims that Smart and the Pearl Izumi PVC coated ones are the only ones to test faster than a bare S Works shoes, and we can probably include Velotoze with that. But Velotoze are completely unbreathable and my feet were dripping after just a 50, Smart are £££ and the Pearl Izumi are so loose around my ankle that I think they'd be slower.

Have to factor in comfort for a 100.

  • Yeah just half pulling your leg.

How about a camelbak down your front? Hear they're on trend now.
