    I've got a 1980s Gazelle Champ Mondiale made of 531 that weighs exactly 2.7kg for the frame and forks. The frame is the same size as this one (my TT is 1cm longer, but I doubt that'll account for the 200g difference).

  • Yours could be made of 531c ('c' stands for Competition, I think) which is a lighter 531.

    531 comes in different flavours, butted, double butted, ST (for touring, so heavier and tougher), C and maybe something else.

    But AFAIK Gazelle never used Columbus. The seatpost can tell us this.

    @Atsui what's the seatpost size?
    Also, even if it was a full Gazelle frame in 531C, £200 is still expensive. Usually they go around £100 mark frameset only, I think
