Hoeflich - my heart goes out. We had the same shenanigans and our random group kept trying to point out to the Colchester "Security" that they might want a plan for the 100's of bikes probably booked on later trains.
But despite that DD still remains my favourite ride of the year. Thank you Southwark Cyclists...

Oh I certainly will. And yes it was a fantastic and beautiful dynamo. It's just the return journey was borked when I hoped it would be low effort... Now on my 3rd and hopefully final connection of public transport in central London, avec bike. This bit's going ok and there aren't any unexpected hills to deal with.
And yes, I'm looking forward to a shower when I get to destination.
