Jesus - that Tiagra looks good for the money. Will both cables run under the bar tape?

yes. looks-wise pretty similar to all the other shimano groups

But will it shift as well as the higher tier groupset? that's the main problem of tinkered down groupset (105 feel sloppier than Ultegra).
