Both brakes are IS mount so you can't really align them easily
You can, just shine a white paper behind the brake to see if both pads have gap on both side.
While you're at it, spin the wheel to see if the rotor is trued.
If you can't move pads out of the way, then chance are the Hope rotors stick too far out.
Always had issues with Hope rotors and Shimano. Especially the Mono stuff. They were flipping wide. @spotter If you feel like splurging some cash. These are peanuts at the moment and damn good.
