  • Riding with my speedplay track pedals atm, which isn't really good for the long term and will be getting some shimano spd or look s-track to cope with the London town constant stop and go.

The plan is to tinker to this a little bit (as I usually do) and convert this into a fixed asap (well when I get paid next tbh) and swap some different tyres on as I don't really like these clements 33 that came with the bike (maybe marathon plus or hardshell 32mm)

Also a longer stem (110 or 120) and change saddle.

But atm the moment I'm pretty happy about this little joy ride that I commute in, which has brought a smile back to my face!

  • marathon plus

    Supreme, pls, unless ultra-paranoid

  • (maybe marathon plus)

No, fuck that shit, the Hardshell is lightweight in comparison, unless you're happy to add an extra 1kg to the total weight of the bicycle.

People generally don't need puncture resistant tyres as long you don't ride in the gutter/don't look where you're going.

  • marathon plus.

Just to carify, the weight of a 32mm Marathon Plus is 810g.

That's 1620g, the weight of a aluminium track frame, normal folding Gatorskins is 325g, Marathon Supreme is 375g.

  • Bike looks great.

For cummuting if it were mine, I'd go with folding 32mm gumwall paselas, but keep the Clements for running (at low pressure!) for bridleway adventure rides.
