Special limited edition run of Talbot Four Seasons Race bike, order now for Autumn deliver.
This is designed to be used year round, whatever the Great British climate can throw at you - even the "wrong kind of leaves" will not phase this thoroughbred.
Frame:
Reynolds 853 OS downtube
Reynolds 853 swaged seat tube (larger diameter where it meets the BB shell for greater stiffness where it's needed)
Columbus MAX bi-axially ovalised top tube
Paragon Machine Works 44mm head tube, allowing either a tapered steerer or a straight steerer fork to be used
Columbus Zona S-bend chain stays
Talbot Frameworks T45 "croquet hoop" seat stays
Custom geometry
Designed for 28c tyres and mudguards
Breezer dropouts
Talbot disc-caliper mount inside the rear triangle
Cable-stops or internal Di2
BSA BB Shell
Fillet brazed
Single colour paint (we'll paint the fork the same colour if you buy it from us)
This is designed to be a bike that can make endless hours of winter zone-2 a pleasure, whilst being sharp enough to race through the summer.
Disc brakes, mudguards and scope for large tyres give this bike an inherent flexibility which is hard to beat.
This will be a limited run of 5 bikes, each numbered (rumours that the final bike will "be alive" are unsubstantiated), and will feature the new stainless Talbot logo brazed onto the head tube.
Total cost for the frame, painted a single colour, will be £1,200 - if you buy the fork from us we'll paint it the same colour.
A deposit of £600 is required to secure a slot in the build queue.
