If Easts moves, I might make the occasional reappearance.
Never much enjoyed Easts at the JB

^^^^ Good reason to keep it at the JB
-
• #13754
Yes exactly. Who are these people who have suddenly started posting in the thread? Do they even
-
• #13755
Yes. We should all support Joe's new pub and it is a five minute bike ride from the JB. I know this for a fact because it is almost literally down the road from my house, which has nothing to do with the fact I want us to go there, obviously.
I should be in next week after a few weeks of being on holiday etc.

Joe says the only food at the mo is pork pies.
But if that's ok with everyone, let's get down there on Wednesday. -

So I scouted out the Chesham Arms last night. It is a very fine venue indeed, with a lovely room and a nice garden with space for bikes. It was wonderful to see jcgarcia in his element and a lot of people there even at a late hour. Wish I could be there this Wednesday, but my first Easts there will only be towards the end of July.

I'd put up a Google maps link but Google have made it impossible to create a link to a Google maps page with the new version of maps, as far as I can work out. Progress huh.
Postcode is E9 6DU if anyone needs it.

i think middleofnowhere needs to sign off, he seems to have, through nepotism, bribery and downright skullduggery, found himself at the head of the secretive central social committee of lfgss
a contingent from norths will come down the big hill, check the proposal we have written up and hopefully approve the move
Great, we'll get the secretary to add it to next week's agenda and hold a preliminary vote on Tuesday.
Once approved you just need to pay the appropriate decamp fee and a new location licence will be issued.
