Red Hook Criterium London

I'll be cycling around all evening with Critical Mass, could meet up there if you like. There is really no going fast with that though. I'll be hanging around LBBG mostly and my mate who's also in RHC should be there too. Will pm you my number so we can find each other.

I've got a hero 4 black and would happily give it to someone who qualifies for some nice footage. If you hold aero important I would recommend against it though.

Where is this being held?

Greenwich Peninsula is a bit freaking vague... is there a map point, pub or post code where people will be meeting to watch it?

Guessing from the pictures I have seen it is near the new Ravensbourne building and those long roads/car parks.

I don't think so. I went down last weekend to have a look. They're currently tarmacking an area to the west of the O2. Between Olympian Way and Tunnel Avenue on that map.

I'm going down next Friday to help them set up, should be able to give a fair bit more info then.

I'm volunteering for the qualifiers part in the afternoon. Not sure what to expect, but should be fun.

What section are you working? I'm on Set-up on Friday, Rider Area Management on Saturday. No doubt there'll be a lot of running around, but definitely fun (if working the Nocturne's anything to go by). Hope this weather holds out til then.

There are going to be 5 mens qualifying heats instead of six now. Details will be up on rhc site this weekend.

Apologies if this has been asked already but does anybody know if you can get a press pass without being an official member of the press? Would really like the opportunity to take some proper photos

Anyone been down to the course yet and know if it's rideable or walkable at least? I'm considering heading down on Thursday night to see if I can get on it.
