I'm going to ride my first 10 with tri-bars and a disc tonight, having previously only ridden pursuit bars and 32H.
I've gone down one tooth on the back in anticipation of PBing.
If I fail can I legitimately blame the hot sticky air?
no, hot is good (provided the air pressure doesn't get too high) - it lowers the density of the air.
Ideal conditions (from an air density pov) are high temps, low pressure and high humidity.
