Hang on where does milk cost 99p for 4 pints? Is this the sort of Tesco milk that makers farmers kill themselves?
Almost all supermarkets heavily discount milk sold in 4 pt (or 2 litre) containers.
I think it's one of the common items in a price comparison basket and so when one discounted it they all followed.
In Saino's it's 89p for a 1 litre and £1 for 2 litres.
Oh I was assuming it was a pre-mixed thing from the fridge.
