My nephew's asthma and eczema got a lot better when he switched from normal dairy milk to "organic" dairy milk.
Other friends swear by the lactose free dairy milk that most supermarkets sell: e.g. http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/shop/gb/groceries/lactofree-semi-skimmed-dairy-drink-1l
My point is there may not be a need to ditch dairy milk completely.
