Some bloke tried to push my girlfriend off her bike last night on Whitechapel Road, near the Vallance road turn off. She was travelling east, he steps into the bike lane, not to cross, just to continue in the same direction. As she's coming up behind him she dings her bell a few times, he ignores or doesn't hear. She says "what the fuck are you doing" so he pushes her in the chest. She managed to stay upright, he tries walking away, she follows asking why he did that, asking his name, he calls her a cunt, she says she's going to take a photo of him, he says "I'll smile and then nick your phone".
She took a photo, phoned the police and told them what happened. They said they'd see if cctv came up with anything, and to give them a ring if she sees him again. She was a little shaken up, but seemed more upset that so many people saw it happening and walked on by as if nothing was happening :(
