It's for my upcoming road bike.
Thank you @ùbér_grùbér -

I like the decals in the size they are and on both tubes, it breaks up the black build nicely

Look fantastic, bar tape seemed a trifle dull in comparison.

road bike.
I'm listening.

The blue? It will go for some white cork once I am done building it up.
-
• #133
I will share the process of that build when I get around to do it in July.

I like the size of the font used, it's the weight I'm not so sure about. It'd look nicer with a lighter version IMHO.
Great looking bike tho! -
• #135
Thank you. I will consider that.

Man I hate FSA cranks. Cheese is often stronger.
I've shoved araldite around the threaded inset for a customer once (being careful not to get any onto the threads). It worked really well. Last I heard it was still holding firm a year or so later (it was only meant to be a temporary solution).
Bike looks amazing btw. I could do with something like that in my life. How did you solve the sliding dropout issue?
-
• #137
I got the cranks off a local pro, he's helping me getting hold of the Danish distribution company. If that doesn't pan out I will give glue a go :-)
I'll post some photos of dropouts when I am back on my laptop. But basicly I brazed a guide on to the sliders and stainless shims onto the dropouts. Got better friction that way and removed stress from the threads of the bolts on to the sliders.
Next time around I will probably go for some paragon machineworks instead. Focussing on becoming a better brazer/welder instead of trying to make dropouts that really should be machined on a CNC miller. -

I am not able to photograph the actual dropouts as I am not home. But this is the basic principle. The sliders are made of 6mm mild steel.

Sweet, really interesting. Thanks.

More or less done.

Too cool

Looks amazing! Was a bit dubious as to how the rotors would look, but they work well with the paint and graphics. A+
-
• #143
Thank you. Whole drivetrain is a mess. Horrible graphics on both Rotors and the RaceFace. They go well together i guess ;-)
-
• #144
Lookin good. I've just got the race face ring, the logos are a bit much, but can't see em when riding, so who gives a shit.

+1, very cool ride Hulsroy. Hope you have a lot of fun on it!

Thank you all. Yes I am super excited about it. Can't wait to go on a five day touring trip with my friends, starting on monday.
I do feel that the bike in this setup is quite heavy and perhaps a little slow. But I guess all touring bike are a bit heavy when loaded. -

Looks awesome! Have a good trip!
Yep I like the separate names on each tube! Would be a shame to see the headbadge replaced by vinyl though, unless that's for another frame.
