Would that kind of stem work on non lo pro track frame, aesthetically?

If you like it in that then yes. Personaly I don't think it works on anything, possibly a really really aggressive lopro.
-
• #46279
personally i reckon it works on anything but aggressive lo-pros. It's also become pretty much the norm on actual track bikes
-

Hmm, I'm just not a fan in general regardless of whether they're actually used. The aggressive lo pro I'm thinking of is a Vitus, ring any bells? Tbh thinking back about it doesnt look so great.

Pendletons build is a few years old now...
Not a fan of +ve rise stem with drops either.
-
• #46282
Looks like a cave painting.
Ha, perfect description!
-
• #46283
Hhmm. I guess it is down to personal taste. On lo pros they are useful because they provide much needed rise when you ride on the streets. That bike in velodrome does not look so bad. I might try that stem once
-
• #46284
Sorry, but + stems on lo pros? never seen one and if they did it would be anti!!
-
• #46285
I would daily commute on that Look. 10/10
-
• #46286
Agree generally but the Vitus I mentioned was well received with the cockpit earning high praise indeed.
-
• #46287
do you have a picture of the Vitus?
__
reckon these two will be a good combo on usual fixed gear
-
• #46288
This? (Not even+)
-
• #46289
No I don't, hoping someone would dig it out.
^ is not that one
-
• #46290
+ve stem is pro look.
-
• #46291

-
• #46292

-
• #46294
I hate the font used on the more usual shimano chain rings but the one above is tehshit.
-
• #46295
+6? Can't really tell cos of lopro & chode
-
• #46296
TBH maybe I'm remembering it wrong.

there are some 1" mtb positive stems around on the web, like Kalloy Uno quill stem.
-
• #46299
