    lovely though, wanted a croix de fer for time and I love my cambium.

  • The fit is far from 'dialled', this was just a post I had knocking about, but I'm still playing with stem length/saddle height. I also can't work out whether I get on with the cambium, it just feels too hard and wide (oo er) to me.

  • I'd be interested to hear how you get on with the Cambium - I'm also currently going through a period of trying to get mine set up properly (also on a Croix de Fer). It seems very sensitive to position. You have to be perfectly central on it to get the hammock effect. Too far back and you're on the back-plate and get no bounce. Too far forward and all your weight is on your gooch. I'm also struggling with level. What seems fairly flat becomes very nose-high when you sit on it and the carcass flexes.
