interested! I was contemplating something a little longer but that's a stupid idea really because I don't like miles.

Cool, what were you thinking? I don't mind miles but getting a bit bored of 6+ hours in the saddle, as all rides I've done recently are.
Feels like I've been sat on a belt sander all weekend, right now...

I was toying with the idea of Ditchling and back because I haven't done a long ride in ages, but deep down I know I only want to do circa-50 miles of the usual Kent lanes, so happy to tag along to wherever really. I've been lying on a beach an wandering around a foreign country for the last week, so I feel nice and rested :)

Next Sunday
Here's a suggestion:
http://www.velouk.net/2015/08/25/news-victor-berlemont-road-race-2/
The Woodcote circuit is a reasonably easy ride from West London and since this is hundred mile race starting at 11 am you won't have to be up at the crack of dawn.
If you need any more information, or the links don't work, let me know.

A few of us are going to be doing Lee Valley from source to Thames tomorrow afternoon.
Plan is to get a train out of London at around 13:00. -

Not sure this is the right place for this, but I am cycling down to Brighton on Friday afternoon then back on Saturday... anyone interested in joining for either or both or part-way? I am fairly flexible, and likely to ride it geared as I've not been before and I hear Ditchling Beacon is a bear... Could be convinced to ride fixed/SS though if anyone else is interested...
