  • Any suggestions for cool things to do? I am visiting in late June with a 6 month old baby..

  • There's a casino there I think.....

  • promenade like there's no tomorrow
haven't been since i was 15 / 16 ... beach was nice i dare say that has changed
is it still the fancy pants place it used to be or has it all gone a bit southport

  • Surfing, day trip to San Sebastián, day trip to foothills of Pyrenees, couple of nice restaurants, parks and nice beaches

  • ^ never thought I would say this but good dredge
I am going In August , anyone else been?

  • busy and expensive, very Paris-on-sea
the good thing is there are various beaches for all tastes. going south towqards Guethary : Cenitz and Acotz are more popular and laid back, being closer to the campsites.
    for a night out >>> san-sebastian

  • Just got back, it was awesome. Not very expensive at all to eat and drink out. Top tips are to hang out around the covered market for food/tapas stuff. Hire a body board, wet suit and flippers for 15 euro from the the surf shop on grand plage. If you like seafood go to casa juan pedro down by the harbour - don't bother with the more expensive restaurants there. Just generally mooch around town checking out cool stuff. If you have more time maybe a trip to foothills, bayonne, san sebastian would be a good idea.

  • Did you cycle?

  • Impressed you got your 6 month old bodyboarding
