Buy two sets.
They're under 25 quid shipped atm. I might try some.

Probably gonna pick up some of these, I looked at the shimano ones but the fact that these are compatible with straps makes them spot on for fixed riding to gigs etc

You do realised how thick that would make the pedal be? quite likely to get scraped while cornering.

fly pedals
For some reason I want these, but I'm still trying to work out when you'd use these.
For eg on my road bike I've got LOOK keo and if I needed to just take it out quickly (which isn't really that likely) I'm OK with sucking up the inconvenience. If I took it out for longer then I'd use shoes and probably have a bag anyway for a lock, etc.
On my fixed I'm now running 2 brakes and sometimes SS, so I guess it would make it easier for the summer if I want to wear flip flops...
I guess as it's a simple design that is universal so you can buy a pair and just pop them away somewhere. You still need to buy the cleats and if you have 2 pedal systems change them over.
I just keep coming back to the idea that it's a solution to an non-problem.

I plan to pop them on any of my bikes (which all run Time pedals) for a casual trip in trainers to the pub/shops/etc. Simple as that really.

Generally, if my bike is nice enough to require clippies, I don't want to lock it up outside the shops, so I have a beater with flats on it. Its different since you're fixed, though.
I'd just put flats and straps on it for general use, then change pedals when I rode it 'properly'. Takes 30 secs and is one less thing to think about.
