Sadly many people have subsidised or free parking. The first 60 odd people into our office get to park for free. These are generally the people that get in before the congestion charge is active and leave after 6pm, so they don't even have to pay that.
And, for some, the £11.50 congestion charge is a price worth paying for being in the comfort of their own car rather than paying £5 return for a cramped space on a train full of other people.

where the merry fuck are all those people sat alone in their cars going of a morning?? surely not to the city / west end? it must cost each of them in excess of 40 pounds a day just to drive in / park the car.
