My cat has taken to dashing out the door when I go to work, no doubt to rain furry death upon all those destined to end life as a damp squeak. He cannot be dissuaded and is faster than me, however the tables turned when my sister went to feed the cat and dog at teatime a few days back when I was working late. As she poors the food in slopes the cat absolutely soaked and miserable as its been lashing down all day. He refuses to eat and sulks upstairs to leave a damp moggy shaped outline in the dogs bed. I may have laughed.

Gomez cat is getting very fussy about the litter tray. He won't use it unless it's spotlessly clean. The problem is as soon as I clean it out and put fresh litter in there the other cat (Opie) dives in and takes a piss. It's almost like "I pissed in it and now it's mine haha"
We have a few litter trays around the house but it's difficult to make sure there is a fresh unused one for Gomez. I clean it out before I go to work but when I get home Gomez will have taken a shit on the floor next to the tray rather than in it, or his new thing is to urinate in this wooden basket where we keep our kindling for the burner.
I feel bad for him because I know it's because the tray isn't clean for him, but I cant stop Opie from using them as soon as I leave the house/go to bed.

Cover the floor in cat litter, leave trays empty = problem solved...

they do a pretty good job of chucking it all over the floor themselves, maybe I should just leave them to it.
here's Opie.

But the question is Is she yours? Or are you hers? Huh?? You'd better get it right!!! Lol
Yes please for more pics!!

Yeah, you own a cat. The cat lets you have that belief.
We won't be stealing your cat, just giving her the opportunity to spend more time with loving and adoring slaves. Also you get to see her on sundays.
What colour is she?

Have you tried covered over litter trays for the spread of the litter? Have found that cat can be really territorial with litter. Maybe try and train gomez to use the loo.

Yeah we have one covered and one uncovered, we keep meaning to replace the uncovered one but Gomez seems to like that one best (when it's clean enough for him)
Loo training is a no go as my gf has banned them from the bathroom because she hates the amount of fur they leave in the bath every day.

I'm her protector, feeder and the one that pets her. I also clean her litterbox. I'm probably hers.

Yeah she let's me believe that. :P
I want to spend 7 days a week with her.
She's a white creme British short hair with full pedigree.
that's an old picture. She's at the bottom, the top two are her kittens (what was left of it after the rest died :S). She has a hereditary heart disease. She's fine, but she had a litter of 6 and 4 died. That was before I got her. She has been sterilized (if that's the correct term). I bought her as a grown cat of 3 years old. She was the boss of the breeder and only when in heath the males were allowed to get near her. In all other cases, no cat was allowed near her, she was the boss over all cats and combined with that heart disease, she had to go.

Give her the choice between a fury bath and a poo stained floor.

Now she is the boss of your life!!!

Just found some fly eggs in my cat's food when I went to give her dinner. It was my fault not have emptied the bowl easier, this has never happens before... I don't know if she has eaten any of the eggs and if she has, what could happen? Just want to keep a watchful eye on her in case of the worst.l.

I imagine it'll be easier to tell when it was actually the cat that farted.

It will be fine, the cats acid in its stomach will deal with it.

Are there any kittens up for grabs soon? We decided we would get a cat when the builders have left and suddenly that has become imminent. I'm going to be off for about four weeks in summer so that would be the ideal time to get one acclimatised I think.

This morning I made friends with this cat that was loitering outside my work.
it then legged it up a tree and dragged a pigeon out if it's nest. Little jerk.

Love the 'allowit bruv' & 'stop fucking filming me' looks - that cat is clearly a little psycho.
I do Mon, Tues and Wed, you do Thu, Fri and Sat.
Arawn can have her back every other Sunday... and she gets to have some me time to kill whatever smaller than a human every other Sunday.
This too complicated?
