• It is a fairly notorious junction which suffers from high speed and left hooking. The actual Hanworth Road, which comes off of the main Airman Junction, is supposed to be 20mph and goes down by the police station, but I doubt its enforced. However, the nature of the main road (two lanes each way), which goes over a bridge just afterwards (with an accompanying cycle and ped bridge at the side), which gets madly backed up on the way to Heathrow, means that sudden changes of lane to use the Hanworth Road as a rat run are sadly common. This has caused many accidents with cars, vans, buses and motorbikes as well. Hope the lady recovers.
