That would never happen.
Would it?

Well you know how fond of the odd Babycham or two she is.
-
• #104
so where we riding Wednesday then chaps?
-
• #105
ps. Roydon update: terrible news for the pre-ride pasta, the Italian place has closed, the site now being 'to let',
potential LMNH space?!,
-
• #106
pps. The White Heart has a good food offering (in place of the Italian)! Would be interesting to sample the beers from the Mc pub opposite, but a local convinced me otherwise!

New ride posted
-
• #108
In case you lot haven't been exploring our little backwater, @benjam is running a WNKR Deluxe overnighter to Bath and Beyond (or Bath and a Beer if you prefer).
Excellent route, excellent company, excellent weather (at least one of these could be true).

so, Ingatestone this Wednesday then, officially?!
-
• #110
Apparently so, saw the controller peeing in the river lea the other day and that is certainly what was suggested.
-
• #111
So it's not just me then, good good
-
• #112
Sooo...
anything tomorrow? -
• #113
Ingatestone. Mysterious controller is mysteriously missing. I'll bung something up when I get a minute.

Next wednesday looks to be a scorcher. Are roadies welcome on these or will I be tutted til my gears fall off?
-
• #116
Next ride will be 8th July, don't know where yet but I feel like I might be coming over a bit Kentish.
These are predominantly fixed rides but all are welcome. There are a few pointers that keep it fixed friendly in the protocol thread...
-
• #117
There are always a few on gears so don't worry about having to be fixed. The protocol thread is a guide on mixing gears and fixed bikes in a group safely. Especially the bit about hills.

Awesome - cheers mdears
-
• #119
very glad that the gear inches on my (non-lightweight) WNKR steed is now closer to 65 than 70!
hoping to be ready-ish for those hills!
-
• #120
feeling fresh @middleofnowhere, @Ramsaye,
in light of that Kent mention, have saved some energy for those potential Wednesday evening hill climbs, ☺

• #121
Ride's up...
-
• #122
I was hoping we'd get enough of a weather window for Killing Me Soft Lea but we'll have to wait and see if the current and forecast rain is enough to put pay to that.
If only we knew someone who rode the River Lee path on a daily basis come rain or shine...
-
• #123
The ground is hard wth a slight moistness to the top. Probably better than when bone dry as you get less dust.
-
• #124
We can make a late decision depending on how much more rain we get today and tomorrow and how the path holds up.
If it's a no, who fancies a few hills?
We'll have to wait and see if the mysterious controller was too drunk to remember which route was decided on.
