Fitzrovia can get them in.
Superstar Hubs are rebadged novatec - and cheaper than importing directly in my - albeit - limited experience.

Fulcrum Racing 3 or Racing 5 LG? The wider rim on 5s outweighs the 100 or so grams of weight gain?

100 or so grams of weight gain
lol yes

Just thinking is there any reason to get the 3s nowadays? Are the hubs better? My understanding is they were great wheels, in a "most bang for your buck" way.

Hubs are no better, get the Racing 5 LG, it's a very decent wheels for the money.
28mm feel great on that width.

any suggestions for carbon, road tubeless ready, disc specific, vaguely aero rims? 19mm internal width, to take 25-30mm tyres
-
• #4986
Yeah, started thinking that is the winning ticket. Thanks, man.

Zipp 303 and just use open pave.

Not if you are a Hutchinson Sector 28 man.

Do they have to be carbon?
Mason disc wheelset looks pretty good based on their marketing blurb. No wind tunnel data mind. What about handbuilts around Chinese carbon 45-60mm rims?Just from pure guess work I wonder how aero you can make disc wheels. Surely you're going to need a fair few unhelunhelpful crossing spokes on the front. Plus a big disc rotor on one side... and a lumpy caliper.
Edit: Mason X Hunt are 17mm internal

You might have to give your local wheel builder a miss? No rider weight limit!

Does anyone know if the Pacenti rims in the Superstar pre-builds are the new version, or the older style?
Really want a pair, but my friend has cracked 4 of the older Pacenti rims and it's making me nervousssss

Don't HED do some? And Reynolds?
Or do they just do complete builds...hmmm.

Welp, looks like I've destroyed my DA C24 front wheel so unless a front wheel comes up on ebay, it'll be a whole new wheelset.
One thing I really like about DA wheels is the Ti freehub to prevent notching from the cassette. Any other wheel brands doing something similar? I know American Classic have steel inserts on the trailing edge of the splines. Could always run an XT mtb cassette I guess..

Just pulled the trigger on a set of superstar ultrawides, seemed to be best weight to cost ratio I could find, especially with there 10% off code, will review when I get them in!

7850 or 9000? If the former, do you want to make me an offer on my WH-RS80-C24-CL wheelset? Lightly used rims for your wheels for less than the price of a single front rim :-)

Ha, I just cracked my Pacenti rim too. Getting replaced, but not for a fair few weeks sadly.
-

I think Reynolds are complete only, plus it seems that Zipp, HED and Reynolds disc rims are just the regular rims with stickers that go over the braking service, whereas Enve are actually redesigned and 200g lighter due to lack of braking surface (and only available complete).

I posted a a wanted add but I will post this here , so people can let me know what he should be looking for
A friend had the wheels stolen off his RIDGEBACK Voyage Touring Bike last night.
He is supposed to be going on a tour in 2 weeks, and doesn't have a lot to spend. Is the standard Deore touring wheel what he should be looking for?

wheres the best source for novatec hubs? Any recommendations for sellers from the far east?
