Cheers. Theres is no rush if it take 2-3 longer or not does not matter to me, just wondered how long it usually takes.

Touring shorts vs Randonnees Shorts?
-
• #21106
Randonee shorts for on and off the bike use. Touring shorts are more for on bike use, closer fit and lighter material.

• #21107
Randonnee short would be more like a swvre wwr light weight shorts?
-
• #21109
That's tynan

Merino gloves in most sizes, get in quick if you want something, you know most of it will be listed on eBay again next week at double the price.

I faced the same dilemma a few days back. The way I saw it the randonnee ones were only a tenner more and come with pockets. That swung it for me (I like to carry more than a credit card).
For those interested in the fit, I currently fit a 32 in Swrve regular durable shorts and a 32 in Vulpine summer trousers (5ft 10, 70kg).
I ordered both a 32 and 34 of the Randonnee. 34 was too big. 32 possibly a bit tighter than I'd have liked but stuck with it due to the stretchy material not making it such a big issue. They are super comfy and would def recommend.Moral of the story is - don't size up or down.
Next question: padder merino boxers, vulpine or rapha (they are the same price)?

This looks interesting: http://www.rapha.cc/gb/en/shop/glove-balm/product/GVB01
Will it 'renew' my 2 year old giro lx mitts? Does Granger sell a cheaper alternative? -
• #21114
Surprisngly cheap for Rapha.

The pot is tiny though. Very good mind and you don't need much. The balm will do a very good job of restoring dry leather.
This is very similar : http://www.climbers-shop.com/10894558/products/grangers-leather-glove-balm.aspx Someone at Rapha gave me a pot of that before they started selling their own version.

• #21116
Not that I really need any more Rapha, but is it time for the annual summer sale soon?
-
• #21117
Probably like the stuff Brooks sell for their saddles?
Being Brooks though that stuff is made from beaswax, tallow, royal jelly and mead.
(I made two of those up)

Rapey leather gloves?
-
• #21119
Think your a bit early, from memory last years was the start of August – I could be wrong though.

Rapey leather gloves?
nice, but a bit dicey?
-
• #21121
Next question: padder merino boxers
No idea about vulpine, but I can say definitively there is no reason to buy Rapha padded boxers.

Does anyone know if there is a leather balm suitable for white gloves?
I don't want them going all yellow or anything.
Thanks!
-
• #21123
I was given an old pot of Grangers by the kind chaps at Rapha for a pair of white GT gloves I had. When used sparingly it didn't turn anything yellow.

• #21124
Excellent, thank you!

Having used this loads on white leathers goods I can recommend it:
It's also much bigger than the lip balm sized Rapha stuff (which they give away free at the archive store if you buy a load of stuff)
The pro-team climbing jersey is really nice, if like me you're prone to suffering from heat stroke and need as normal looking as possible and jet desire it to be very lightweight and airy.
