Yeah ... I assume the coach was stationary, but even if he wasn't it doesn't sound like a situation he should sounding his horn repeatedly
Similarly wasn't there, but have been present in situations where a motor vehicle is surrounded by bikes at a red light, light changes, driver waits for all cyclists to go, then lights change to red again. Then a new set of cyclists filter up and the whole thing repeats ad infinitum...

eah ... I assume the coach was stationary, but even if he wasn't it doesn't sound like a situation he should sounding his horn repeatedly

If that the case it sounds like a massive news story which isn’t being covered. I’m really surprised that journalist’s aren’t interview motorist stuck for days (or for infinity) camping out in their cars overnight whilst stuck at junctions due to the sheer mass of cyclist preventing them from moving away from junctions. I can’t believe that the Red Cross aren’t turning up to provide humanitarian relief to the stricken motorists and food banks aren’t turning up to provide food and water.
In fact, I’m going to get on my bike and ride to central London and break this news story. I can see a Pulitzer prize for breaking the news of this humanitarian crisis happening under our noises. I’m going to be really disappoint if I see that motorist are managing to get away from junctions and aren’t stuck “infinitum”

The horn. Use only while your vehicle is moving and you need to warn other road users of your presence. Never sound your horn aggressively. You MUST NOT use your horn
while stationary on the road
when driving in a built-up area between the hours of 11.30 pm and 7.00 am
except when another road user poses a danger.
