  • The 810 has a few minor niceties over the 800 but they're basically the same thing (I don't use that bluetooth stuff which was the main upgrade). The 1000 I've not used but if you're happy with the 800, assuming you get an 810 that works you should be pretty happy with it.

  • The bluetooth is pretty useful, I find - It means that the other half can track me, and not get worried at 10pm that I haven't phoned yet.

  • Hmm, we used to do that with Google Latitude. Why they ever killed that off I'll never know.

    I wonder how long my Nexus 5 lasts with Bluetooth enabled and the Garmin reporting to it though?

  • I presume you either make the Live Tracking thing public or she'd have to login as me?
