By using the comfort scale that measures from "1" being the lowest and "comfortable" being the highest... How can they measure something in percentages that is in the eye of the beholder?
bb30a - isn't a lower Q factor more comfortable and aero, as proven by Obree's 1 Banana wide washing machine bearing bottom bracket?

They could do some kind of random ordered comparitive test. If they really can be bothered.
BB30a uhuh, generally a lower Q is a good thing. Guess they think having more area to play with is a better thing. The newer hollowgram axles have had 2.5mm spacers on them for some time now, so they've been BB30a for a while now, regardless of the BB shell they were in.

I'm still using 104mm axles, took a bit of finessing on the PF30 BB but perfectly doable.

CAAD 11 wil replace CAAD8?
-
• #2206
Well yeah, the 109mm axle was introduced for BB30a 73mm shells introduced with the crabon synapse. If you have a 68mm BB30 or PF30 shell a 104mm axle will do.
@Dogs dunno. They might do some kind of watered down CAAD10 as a replacement for the CAAD8 but it would be a very different bike to the CAAD10, so yeah, maybe they'll call it 11.

Hey Cannondale gang, my mate is thinking about buying one of the 2015 CAAD 10 Ultegra models. These are currently selling at £1699. Whats the chances of him getting one of these cheaper when the new models come out? Does anyone know rough dates when they will be released?
Thanks.

I have been told 4-6 weeks for the road bike prices to drop. 'Dale mtbs have already dropped in price.

Is that a Charge branded CAAD 10 track?

looks like it

Hey, I've recently bought a CAAD 10, however I want to move the bars a bit lower but that pesky conical spacer/dust cap is stopping me. Any ideas on the best place to get a shorter dust cap?

You could get @mdcc_tester headset cover which is what I have on mine, or could get a generic carbon one on eBay?
-
• #2213
Thanks! Is there any reason they stick such a huge cover on?
-
• #2214
Because MAMILs.
-
• #2215
Haha!
Do any of you knowledgeable folk know the dimension of the headset cover for a '15 CAAD 10 off the top of your head?
-
• #2216
Strange, prior Supersixes came with a conical cover, with a shallow/no stack cover underneath. Do all CAADs ship with just the conical cover?
-
• #2217
This is what I'm talking about...

• #2218
47x2 I believe.

What's the max tyre width for the current CAAD10 frame and fork?

CAAD 11 wil replace CAAD8?
Hah, that be the day.
Cannondale never touched the CAAD8 for quiet some time.

I'm running 25 mm tyres and there's still quite a lot of space

Because MAMILs.
I'm sure its not because of MAMILs. Your posting is very infantile and off-putting to people wanting to discuss sensibly.
True. Was thinking more about the CAAD12 really, which seems to have the largest percentage increase in a given area: 50% extra comfort. Not sure how they measure that. I still like the current CAAD10 better with the removable cable stops and a frame which does both external cables or internal Di2.
