How is the geometry super compact?

Is it the original fork?

This is the guy who sells many bikes on Gumtree...
...spends time making them look nice (resprays their frames, it appears) and takes pretty pictures. Just don't go asking him for anything as unnecessary as frame measurements, though, because apparently that's too much effort.

The size is on Ebay, only £250 there

Single speed with one brake.
Overpriced cheap tat.
Ignoring classifieds rules regarding cross posting.
False statements in description.Bogging.

I bought it from the guy on gumtree and am trying to sell it now, if you're not interested please stay away from my advert.
Yes it is the original fork dogs. -

Trying to make profit from us ?
And with this attitude too? -
• #10
A Raleigh conversion with mostly crap parts for £350. Stick to eBay son...

Mate, you've got that and six or seven other bikes selling on Gumtree; unless you're saying that the guy you purchased it from - 'Toni' - has neglected to remove the the original listing from Gumtree; in which case you've decided to sell it on pretty quickly (why is that?).
Chances are, though, you are Toni, and when I enquired after a few measurements for a bike you were selling a while back, your refusal to provide the figures demonstrated an abysmal attitude.
In any case, who are you to tell people to 'stay away from you advert'? This isn't the classifieds, this a forum for a more discerning level of customer, and a more honest one too.

I shall "stay away" from you ads, as far away as I can, not get near and certainly not ever buy anything from you, that far enough away ?
I would advise others to do that to, to stay away, stay away as far as possible, from you, your many bikes & many bike ads. STAY AWAY ! STAY AWAY ! STAY AWAY !!!
Like the man said, this ain't the way to sell shit.

Um ok, where is the classified area then? I'm confused as it quite clearly says classifieds at the beginning of this post.
I bought this bike from Toni and then tried to sell my old bike, I realised I didn't want to sell mine so put this back in the market because I don't need two bikes.
But seriously what is wrong with you people, yes I am trying to make a profit and so what? Maybe if you people had that sort of mindset you would have money and a better lifestyle and wouldn't spend 3/4 of your time on a BICYCLE WEBSITE you sad bunch of losers. Get your act together guys and stop bothering me please. -

Let me get this right: 'Toni' posted his advert on Gumtree on the Saturday, you bought the thing on the same day presumably, and then on the Sunday decided you didn't want to part with your existing bike after all and put it up this bike on eBay the very next day (using Toni's pictures to do so)?
Well, okay, we all make rash decisions from time to time. In any case, this is the 'classifieds', it's just entered into with a sort of spirit anathema to your own. This means you need to sell here and here only, the idea being that this isn't a forum motivated by the idea that you have to make a profit; you sell at a reasonable price and you can buy at a reasonable price from people you can trust.Anyway, we don't like the look of Toni's bikes - they're just resprayed frames cobbled together with cheap parts, so if you want to recoup your outlay, better off putting it back on Gumtree or waiting for an offer through eBay.

... and you might want to remind Toni to take down his ad in the meantime?

the bike doesn't look bad as such per se for a runaround - but either it's not Raleigh or the forks aren't original - or they've had wrong stickers on - also it's not compact as in a sloping top tube and it's not short and tight - both frame and forks have mudguard eyes - it's a club bike -
is it fixed or just single speed?
i'd reckon c. 130 to 170 is about fair depending on a few factors such as what the crank / hubs etc are.
i think the rules say not ebay as well as here - not sure about gumtree / other forums
- can't see why not everywhere at the same time really.

Because if you allow cross advertising then you'll get loads of plonkers like this flooding the listings and it'll be harder to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Ok finally we are all on the same page, yes ToK that's exactly what happened, it's a great nike but have you ever had depart with your most prized possession to make way for something new? It was too difficult hence me attempting to sell this one, I bought it for £250 so will let it go for £250 too, it's brand new and looks great, rides smooth and the few times I have ridden it it's turned a few heads, so is anyone interested?
If i get any interest on here i will remove all my other adverts, if not I'll remove this one. I'm not sure if they are the original parts or not number 6 but it's seriously light, has a stellar paint job and rides like a dream, everything is in working order so I would say £250 is a fair asking price. -

Still not how it works..

Save yourself the trouble and just remove this advert. Think it's probably too late....

@TyPX WAC. The rules of the forum entail that you not cross post your ads. Either post your ad here or nowhere else.
GLWS. If you'd like to set fire to £250, you're welcome to flog the ashes here as well, as long as they're not on eBay too.

Bunch of losers?
A bit rich from someone who just got ripped off on a shitty conversion.
