Great idea, apart from them not having a telly.
-
• #117661
I didn't suggest actually watching the game. We can follow it on Twitter for that ultimate plastic experience.
-
• #117662
You can follow games on twitter? In't modern technology wonderful. I remember, during my exile north of the border, I watched many a game on Teletext, nothing plastic about that.

It is a sad state of affairs when the Day Z thread ecclipses ours.
So the exciting news of the moment, other than the Women's World Cup and the U21 Championships, is the Cech saga. That and the fact that I have tickets for the Women's FA Cup Final at Wembley which is two weeks before the Community Shield which means two dry runs to our possible temporaru ground.
Next week there is an exhibition at Stamford Bridge of the new ground proposal which appears to include some form of direct acccess to Fulham Broadway which will be interesting as TfL, thanks to BoJo no longer add trains prior to and immediately after football matches as so the already overcrowded platfom will be total chaos.
All this and still six weeks to go....
...or is it seven.

I thought Twickenham was the most likely alternative?
I'd love to see some of the plans that are being made. I remember from the last one that TFL were against a bridge over the tracks by the East stand.

Twickenham would be ideal. There'd be no need to change red trousers between rugby and football matches.

I would have thought that there would be an underground stadium.
In keeping with the Borough. -
• #117673
Wem-ber-ley unlikely as there's a limit to the number of events it can host each year. Adding another 25 or so (with Cup games and Chumps League) would take away too much revenue from concerts and the like.
Ground-share with Fulham. Go on...
[EDIT] Or Loftus Road. *snigger*

I know I said I didn't want anything to do with the football transfer window, but even though I'm not posting, I'm still peering over the wall, but this article ground my gears...
Like tell me something I didn't already know..pahh!

You don't know the way to the Tottenham ground.
We could tell you how to get there?
