Just spoke with him there. He's in good spirits. It is going to be a tactical battle for 2nd spot with basically 5 guys in contention.

I told him to turn the tracker off citing 'dead batteries' and go into stealth mode. Pop up on Thursday night 300km from the finish.

Ha! Sneaky, but That assumes other people give a damn about others races.

Just go as fucking hard as you can and don't stop going till you can't go no more. Then keep going till you arrive the the finish. If anyone beats you there, they deserved it as you couldn't have done any more!

From the film there seemed to be a lot of rider dot-checking on TransAm last year, especially Juliana and the Italians...!
