Cheers, I've actually already been over that end of the bike, again stripping and re-fitting everything.
Why I'm at such a loose end trying to figure it out. I found this http://www.jimlangley.net/wrench/keepitquiet.html and been over a fair amount.
I've got a new Selle Flite in the post, so maybe might do it?
... If not I may swallow my pride and ride down to the local shop and see if they have any ideas.
