OK, I've been going insane trying to figure out where this "click" is coming from. Aside from completely rebuilding the bike I've tried everything, I think...
It sounds like it's coming from the bottom bracket/crankarm/pedal area. Only happens when pedaling seated. Normally at the same point of the pedal stroke, but sometimes get a double-up on occasions. Can't seem to replicate the sound in the bike stand so really hard to find exactly where it's coming from.
I've ridden it without my cleats, and seems like it happens more frequently.
Completely re-greased everything after thorough cleaning and it's still there.
I'm just about to chuck an old pair of pedals on there to see if that sorts it... SO I'll update in a bit.
Any ideas or stories of something similar you've sorted would be MASSIVELY appreciated, before I go completely mad from shouting at my bike while riding.
