Just rode past this on the way in, from the opposite direction. Awfully typical scene; left turning tipper, many bystanders and wreckage under truck. I believe the rider was still trapped as I passed, but I didn't want to hang around. Thoughts to the rider.

Down as seriously injured in the Evening Standard. Hope they are okay.

Sadly being reported as a fatality now :(

Yes, confirmed by City Police as a fatality. RIP poor lady, deepest condolences to family and friends.

Just been past the scene, which was horrific, and have now logged on to find it was a fatality.

Good to see that the emergency services were, as usual, doing everything they could. Very disapointing to see the Police had to battle with onlookers and those who felt themselves too important to be kept behind the Do Not Cross lines.

Thoughts to the riders family.

Ban the fucking lorries.
