  • Im selling a full and unused Campy Athena Groupset, its a double order i've ended up lumbered with and need to sell.

Everything is in black where it was an option along with Carbon levers, it has British BB shells, all cables and fixings included. 32mm band on front derailleur.

These parts retail individually for £714 and the wheels were £106, so about £820 total.

I'll consider offers in excess of £650 for everything, you basically just need a frame and tyres to build a working bike from these parts. Please inbox me if you want more pics or any more info.

  • a bit pricey isn't it? you can get the groupset for 670€ & the wheels for 150€ at bike24.de + free shipping. 810€ = £580.

  • bike-components.de even cheaper than bike24.com..

and even ribble has a hwege campag blowout

  • £525 for group & wheels from Ribble.

  • @krankers That's incredible :) BTW, if you "part-shop", you can get a centaur-veloce mixo gruppo cheaper than plain verocse.. they have very groossartiges prices nowadays.

  • as i said- make me an offer for it all- you can get the group cheaper but if you actually click through the options the price goes up very quickly...the option os this set put it a bit higher price wise...

also as mentioned if you have a problem with the price please feel free not to comment.

  • You're new here aren't you.....

  • $3.50 for the lot.

  • Not the new, but he is an idiot.

  • Yes, but you stipulated that you would only consider offers 'in excess of £650', which kind of negates the point you're trying to make; presumably, you'd reject an offer of £500, say, outright?

  • $3.50 for the lot, you whore.

    ghetto'd that for you

  • The wheels and groupset would appear to be £498 delivered if you buy them from Ribble, which gets you brand new kit with a direct warranty etc, would suggest that around £400 for the lot is more reasonable/likely to be achievable if hoping to sell to the audience here.

Offers "in excess of £650" is, how to put this, a little enthusiastic.

  • @ben_in_london has already proven himself to be a douchebag. Ignore.

  • nice one guys, i was just about to buy some campag bits n pieces and totally forgot about ribble - i do love the forum sometimes

  • lolz

  • fiddy dorrar?

  • go fuck yourself cunt

  • ^Anger caused by riding a bike that's far, far too large, and buying groupsets for £2-300 more than retail?

  • Had you considered golf instead of cycling? You might be better suited to it.

  • I propose to ban him from the forum, @Velocio?

  • Im sure you are probably too far gone to realise that your response just confirmed sacredhart's analysis of you. I feel a banhammer moving swiftly your way...

  • Ben, please don't take this the wrong way, but you're making a couple of mistakes that others have made before you. You're never going to get the sort of prices on here that you might get in other marketplaces, but that cuts both ways--the same low prices and friendly trading environment can wait for you when you're the buyer. Many people basically use this forum as a refuge from eBay etc. and for the chance to trade with other enthusiasts, and fair prices are a key part of that.

I can imagine that you're still annoyed people didn't like your bike; well, that can happen, and many have been through that. You may not know that much about bits yet, but my advice would be to take it in good humour and keep reading. (I can't talk, as I ride a fairly stock OTP and certainly not a 'build', and I still don't know much about bits, but for those thus inclined there are few places where you can learn more.)

Some of those who have commented, hostile though it may seem, were actually trying to help you understand what's acceptable around here. Needless to say, if that's not your thing, you may not enjoy being on here, but others have come back from a rocky start, too, and 'got' it. The forum can be a lot of fun and I'd say it's definitely worth persevering.

    Good luck.

  • You are such a fucking dildo.
