I detest anything hanging off the handlebars...as you say, weird steering.
Wee man now not so wee at 6 so no more seat :/

some real gems there,
"Why write more really, when I have a long middle finger on each hand for the perfect reply. Pictures available on request."and more nasty as his head starts caving in
"Upset is when people cry. Lifting the middle finger involves no tears. Learn the difference.
You say you don't like my bike, cool, I say "I do, different folks..." But some cash-strapped imbecile bitches, "money can't buy taste", I say f you and your mother too. You talk turkey, here is some stuffing and gravy."

Riding fixed with a baby seat must be a bitch.

How did you find it? And how do you find co-pilot type seats? I always imagine it'd make me ride like a bodybuilder on their morning commute to the gym, but I like the idea that my son'd be able to see where he was going.
Are baby carrying bikes also the only time Brooks are acceptable?

The Weeride was excellent, worked perfectly until she got too big for it. Can't use drop bars though as the end of the drops hit the footwells of the seat and restrict turning; flat bars or bull horns required. MiniGB loved being able to see where we were going and spent most of the time pointing out things and shouting at people.
Moved to a Hamax Kiss (on the back of my hackbike) when she grew out of the Weeride (3 years old and ~15kg): http://www.greenbank.org/misc/IMG_4591.JPG and they can still sleep albeit not so comfortably: http://www.greenbank.org/misc/IMG_5245.JPG
She's finally grown out of that (at 5 years old and 20kg) and is on her own CNOC 16 (sometimes attached to mine by a Trail-Gator).
Still on the same Knucklehead 'Lil Runt helmet, it's lasted from 9 months to 5 and a half years old.

Thanks, I might have a look at getting one. He loves going in the Hamax Siesta and just squeals with happiness the whole time, but I can't help but think he'd enjoy it even more up front.
I'm not sure if I'd be able to work it with North Road bars or whether it would require proper flat bars...

Good chance of it being ok with wide bars like that, find someone with a Weeride (or go to a distributor like Discount Bikes) and try it (you can just hold the seat an inch or so above the top tube and then move the bars side to side, no need to bother putting the mounting bar on).

Thanks, I'll have a look. Thankfully, the part of York where I live (if not all of York) is pretty keen on bikes, babies and recycling.

That looks like the sort of thing that could be priced really low, but is a decent build away from awesome.

Yuck, that bar 'tape' looks like it was fashioned by Buffalo Bill from someone who refused to rub the lotion on their skin...

Campagnola Ultegra groupset.
At last, the Shimano vs. Campagnolo war has been concluded with a just peace :-)
Ah, thanks man!
