Nah its this one https://www.canyon.com/en/technology/vcls_post.html
I think it's working ok given the massive amount of adjustment it offers; I love that post would hate to move away from it. VCLS 2.0 is nice but pricey (and anti) much like SMP saddles

• #503
Ah fair enough, that looks like it'll put much less stress on the nose. As you were
-
• #504
I have Specialized Power saddle on order to test so will see how it compares to that.
Nah, best to send it back, SMP is better because SCIENCE!
-
• #505
Sorry i'm sure this has been asked before but where can you get the fake SMPs and how safe are they?
-
• #506
I use mine on my fixed TT bike, so the rails are positioned quite forward in the clamp and neither the saddle nor the fake 3T seatpost I'm using it with haven given me any cause for concern.
Expect me to now DNF this weekend's TT...

Spotted a composit on a bright blue look road bike this morning, anyone on here?
-
• #508
I think I am about to spring for one of these. Which one is causing me angst though.. Thinking of a Dynamic or a Stratos... Longish distances
-
• #509
Flat blue Look? Somewhere southeast - would be @7VEN
-
• #510
Hai, yes, twas me! Where were you?!?
-
• #511
Crossing under the Thames with you at the Greenwich foot tunnel! I had the dirty caadx - was going to ask how the saddle was but then thought if you're not 'on here' I'd look a bit mental.
Nice bike PS -
• #512
Ah, with a beard! Nice bike.

Composit with bibs short for long distance.
-
• #514
I do have some lovely bibs. I'll give a Composit a try then I guess, and not worry about the lack of padding... I guess that /IS/ what the bibs are for.
-
• #515
Yes, the Composit is a lovely looking and very comfortable saddle. Wouldn't be riding too far without bibs though. Scoble speaks the truth.
-
• #516
I never ride without some sort of padding, and when I go a long way I have a very good pair of Assos bibs. I can't think of a good reason not to get one. I am bored with being numb in places that shouldn't be numb.
-
• #517
I get less numbness without bibs actually. Find my composit quite nice with no padding even over longer distances tho i prefer the evolution for that.
-
• #518
Must says I did 70 miles without padding, still remarkably good, no pressure etc.
-
• #519
Sorry i'm sure this has been asked before
Like you said, this gets asked just about every page, go have a look
-
• #520
I ordered a Composit and an Evolution from the rather splendidly named Lordgun bicycles, my intent was to put the Evo on the Path Racer V2 when it goes together (shortly, I would hope), and the Composit on the Time Machine (which I am almost always wearing cycling kit when riding).

SMP Hell arrived today. A lot more padding than I had first anticipated! Now to work out how to set it up properly...
-
• #522
On its way.
-
• #523
What are you doing with the 100% Made in Italy full carbon copy? I'm about to order from ali but if your selling... this will be a trial run before the real thing.
-
• #524
What is the cheapest road SMP? Does width of arse/ sitbone sorcery come into play with these saddles? I really want a brown saddle to match my bar tape but the Charge ones give me hell. I have a very limited budget!
-
• #525
It's linked on the first page but arses and bones are discussed at the start along with everything else - http://www.stevehoggbikefitting.com/bikefit/2011/09/all-about-smps
I think the consensus is the Extra is the best cheap one to test it out, I went straight for the Hell though and so far my bum has appreciated it, will definitely get a composit when I have the cash.
Is that with the stock Ritchey seatpost? Be interesting to see if it lasts okay
