• Fair does, you just always chime in with a negative, can see your point about ports now, but then the MacBook isn't for professional use, it's for ultimate portability and light use, it would be useless for me as a main machine too due to it being under powered, but I can appreciate it for its intended purpose.

    I just see ultimate portability as useless without versatility, since when you're traveling, versatility is what you need. I can see this working out ok in a world where everything else operates on the (superior) usb-c.. but it doesn't yet, and by the time it does, there'll be a new standard. :/

    And its not even very underpowered! It's a very capable processor for the size, just under stress it gets so hot as to half its power..

  • If I ever gave the money I'd be tempted to get one for my wife and maybe "borrow" it and see how well it does fare under proper work.
    But still, it's not for that, it's a support machine, the Mbps are the work horses with larger hdds and all the ports. I hate analogies but it's a bit like complaining the riMac isn't very portable...
