Could be 8-speed C-Record; I have a 1994 Carrera with complete C-Record on it and the brifters look similar.
These are 1993 C-Record:

Hi Guys,
This is one for the 'Colnago-connoisseurs' I suppose.
I just got this Colnago which I think is a Nuovo Record, but it has some odd futures:
- the top tube has 2 ribs (which is normal for a Nuovo Mexico as far as I know)
- the down tube has 2 ribs, which is odd as all other I find on the web have 4 ribs ?
- it has brazed on cable guides but the cable goes into the frame, haven't seen that before on a nuovo..
- it has a bracket for a racing number (haven't seen it on a nuovo Mexico but looks to be original)
- the rear derailleur is dated '83
- the crank looks to be a C-record but how can I be sure of that ?
So what do I have here ? What year was it build and what parts should be on the bike (super record / C record / ...). The paint is not original I think. I was looking for a Nuovo Mexico to restore and this is my size but first I want to know what this is and how it looked when it was new.
Looking forward to your answers!

I think I just stole this from you on eBay, and it'll stay a rat with some old disc on the rear :). On the other hand, anybody knows any similar handlebars to those:
Except la84 and nitto rb019? -

So I acquired this C Bertrand recently and curious as to it's heritage.
I can find out lots about the company but little about the frames themselves.Things I think I know so far are
Reynolds decal age is '52-'73
Looks like it's built with Nervex lugs
Rear dropouts are 'Agrati'Not a lot so far but hoping somebody can assist nailing the age and potential model. Any idea what it might be worth too?

It depends on how far it extends towards the centre of the wheel, but at a guess probably any speed.

It's the Camping model. It's basically after a French style of the same thing. Going by the lugs and the drop outs I'd say 1950-58. As for value, well it's a big gate of a frame which limits its appeal, so likely not that much. Maybe one and a half.

It's sort of similar to a Rene Herse Camping. Though, they are in a different league all together.

They are C-Record era, but not Record.
Record only had four spider arms: the fifth chainring bolt attached behind the crank arm.
I think they are Croce D'Aune/2nd generation Chorus, in which case they should have self-extracting crank bolts.

Wow @ColnagoDaft you are a one stop shop of knowledge. Thank you so very much. That's exactly what I wanted to know. I'm glad it's not worth a small fortune as I'd like to keep it and now I know more about it I can bore my mates to tears with the details even more than usual.
I love this place. You guys are just so bloody helpful & pleasant. -

Pictures of an Rene Herse Camping here, the racks are all hand made and most of the fittings have been modified or hand tooled by the builder himself. Even the cantilever brakes are in house. The difference between this bike and your Camping model is about £15k... The Japanese go mental for RH and it's only a matter of time before one of the really rare ones fetches 50k on ebay.
