    6pt - I absolutely agree. It's definitely not something I'd have considered until recently, but the metallics, in particular are so abstract in pattern, they could be anything (there's one called "zinc" in addition to the one I posted above, which is similar but monochrome). The same applies to the concrete and slate patterns.

    The way I see it, and where I'm looking to see if I'm wrong, is that I don't think anyone would look at them (especially mounted on exposed ply) and think, "They're trying to make out they have a zinc worktop".

    I had hoped (and again, I'm happy, and looking to be proved wrong) that it looks like a tough work surface, along the lines of:-

    Albeit, that ours wouldn't have the integral sink or the smug Californian.
