What's hammock camping? I'm intrigued ... (Went lightweight camping in Normandy last year, always keen to see what solutions other people have)

just a camping hammock - find two trees and suspend between, nice and lightweight and easy to find a camping spot too, i use a DD
My current plan is to maybe ride down from harrogate on the saturday morning, quiet night in the hammock then ride sunday morning and train back sunday night, no riding buddies this time so would be keen to meet up with anyone - Tony ? you'll be about right?

I've still not sorted how I am getting there or where I'm sleeping if at all, are camping tickets still available? anyone else hammock camping?
