Yay for cancer free!!! It's a horrible thing that, is it? May many more healthy years to come for both you and Sam!!

Please does anyone have any tips to help combat this?
How did you get your cat to love you so much?! Tips please. Our cats tolerate us and haven't had us 'have an accident' purely because they know we control the food.

Think I'm quite lucky as my cat sleeps with us so no noise through the night. Only time if she is really hungry she has taken to licking my head until it starts to hurt till I wake up and put some food in the bowl

Because I'm such a loveable person ;)
I think it has a lot to do with it just being me and him. I'm on my own so I talk to him all the time. His place is on the sofa next to me, so when I have snacks or am not sitting at the table, he sometimes gets a sample. Some evenings when I am cooking dinner, and I know he is asleep on my bed, I will cook him some fish. He gets lots of cat treats during the day and knows when there are supermarket bags that usually means prawns for him.
Yours are still quite young and mine didn't sit on my lap until he was 3. Now it is a job to not have him on my lap. Also when I was really ill, he would come and tell me it was time to take an afternoon nap, so he could curl up next to me.
TLDR - I spoil him silly.

The fucking cat brought in a mouse to the bedroom and I am sure it went under my bed, moved everything from under it, cat keeps going in and out of under the bed, can't find the mouse, but it has to be somewhere. There is no more entry/exit points in the entire flat, I even shut the catflap now coz that's where the flipping thing was brought in from. Any idea? If I let the cat out again before this one is found, I'll never know if this one is found as she keeps bringing them in.
Another thing, how to stop the cat from bringing them into the bedroom? She never used to do this but now she really is testing my patience...
Cat has gone back under the bed to wait... I am off to sleep...

Mice can get into the tiniest of spaces you will struggle to find it perhaps?

I had a really bad problem with mice before having the cat, so we did a complete mice proof then, the direction the mouse went to - under my bed, I am pretty sure there isn't even a tiny hole... but I am hoping it's gone, as the cat has lost interest... I put some chocolate next to my bed hoping to bait it out if it's still there, but it's been a few hours so I think it's gone... or dead... either way, it's gonna fun this evening trying to find it. If it hadn't gone under my bed and vanished I won't be bothered too much but I don't want to wait up next to a dead mouse... or have to deal with funny smell...
Gonna start locking the flap at night again from tonight... too many mice she is bringing in.

Haha that's what I can remove from my cat by just petting her XD.
I can comb her for a while with a furminator (if she allows it) and when she does this ninja trick where everything around her is hair. She generates a big cloud of hair. It's amazing.
