I thought the rocking came from the plastic wearing not the metal. So I'd say they were fine. Metal plates are cheap on T'Bay though.
I've taken the plunge, and ordered some well priced chromo zeros, and some Ti bits to bring the weight Down. I seem to be frequently injured of late, and my old Beebops used to be kind to injured legs. So I figured I'd give them a try.
I was very tempted to get the Pave Version. I frequently have issues cliping into my keywins due to steping Down into snow, and I wondered if they'd last longer before developing a rock, being all metal. But the Paves cost a shit load more. Seemed overkill.
