Yeahbut I don't think there's a better transmission for CX than 1X10 SRAM. Cheap, ubiquitous, works flawlessly. Only thing is it more or less rules out Hydraulics, which are pretty much ruled out anyway because I can't pay what SRAM are asking for them and I don't want to run Shimano because they haven't made a sensible CX transmission yet.

^ This. Seems daft to limit your options just because of your 10spd transmission stockpile.
