• I understand "why", it's the "how" that I was curious about: you've the left the forks in the frame and mounted the whole lot upside-down in your stand.

    I measure up, then remove the forks to cut them: is there a particular reason you've done it this way?

  • You would do that with a standard fork, but not on this :)
    There are no measurements to make as if you want to fit the C-stem without the Look spacer there is only one cutting position.
    Look gives you a cutting guide to mark the steerer (if you want to get rid of the dedicated spacer), so I marked the steerer and then used a cutting guide with the frame upside down so the dust wouldn't go inside the steerer.
    Google up for Look Headfit and it will give you an idea what I'm talking about...
    It might be odd for traditional standards, but that's how it works :)
