  • All that work by sky yesterday thrown away ! Nibs was obviously bluffing .

  • Rui Costa has Valverde's number. He's also the best rider in the world in June.

    So it would seem.

Nice work again by Yates, only 35 seconds down from the leader and well ahead of Froome. Top 20 for the TdF?

  • Top 20 for the TdF?

    Nah

  • okay.jpg

  • I'll put a fiver on him being top 10.

  • This is cool; Richmond is making their own hellingen for the Worlds course

  • HARD RACING! What a stage at the dauphine. Going to be a great weekend of racing.

  • Looks to me as if they're relaying old, distressed paving to make it smoother?

In the older cities in the US there was historically a lot of block paving.

  • If they want to make it hard, they should leave it as it is in the pic. Nice little pinch point through the bollards, hop of the ledge and remember to look out for the bags of cement.

  • Hopefully. I think a lot of people will be tired after yesterday though.

The final climb should be good, the steepest part is at the beginning which should get rid of most of the domestiques.

  • I think the aim at the Tour for both the Yates' will be to try and win stages rather than going for the overall.

  • Yeah. Would be great to see them take a stage.

  • Froome unleashed!!!

  • Absolute joyfull to watch 120rpm up the finish line

  • He certainly span for the wan win

  • Good stage. Nice to see the fight in Froome. Nice to see Van Garderen do so well. Nice to see Valverde do so well!

  • @dubtap will be happy at the strong results for MTN too.

Meintjes 3rd today and TEKLEHAIMANOTCUTANDPASTE in the Dots Jersey.

  • I'm still laughing about Tyler Farrar claiming he is leadout man for EBH.

  • Tour GC contenders must be pooping their pants. Farrar is going to the TDF.

I thought I'd Google an image to go with this ^ "Tyler Farrar crash" = 135k results!

  • #TdS stage 1

Dilier showing the limits of how far you can swing a TT bike from left to right while hanging over the bars on a straight road

Dumoulin set to take the opening TT, 2" faster than Fabs

  • 3.4k at 8% but it looks more !

    It's in tomorrows #Dauphine http://t.co/5dxgnkAp7j

Live on itv4 from 2.30 in the afternoon.

  • You can follow that road and then look back (before riding a bit further to the top of the Madeleine).

  • Just catching up. Hell of a ride by Kennaugh.

I think he'll go to the Tour on the back of the Dauphine.

Good to see TvG going so well. Given how good BMC are at the TTT, I can see him having a day or two in yellow at the Tour.

  • Another view of the climb, looks amazing.
