  • I'm in too. See you guys there.

  • I got in off the waitlist, but hesitating to pull the trigger to buy a ticket... should I do it?

  • Would have to do this, but due to student commitment means I'm out!

Have fun ladies and gents, and more importantly RIDE FAST!!!

  • I've entered and now I am bricking it. I hope the other women are nice...(they're going to destroy me)

  • I missed the initial rush but got in off the waitlist. I wasn't sure if I was gonna enter at all as I've been off the bike, injured, for the last 3 weeks but I've been looking forward to this for so long and we get so few chances to race fixed gear I figured I had to.

I'm just about able to start training again so not sure what legs I'll have come race-day but @umop3pisdn /fellow forumengers I'm up for putting whatever horsepower I have into the LFGSS qualification train

  • Who's flying the forum flag?

  • I'll racing in team kit, but I'll have a forum cap on.

  • NLTCBMBC skinsuit, forum cap and Rapha socks...all loyalties covered

  • I'll be in forum colours

  • I'm just back on my bike after breaking my foot a month ago, so I know how you feel. Got 4 weeks to get in decent shape.

  • I've just registered/signed up/paid and haven't seen anything about a waiting list? I'll start sharpening my elbows anyway.

  • Sorry to hear and best of luck! 4 weeks ain't long at that level so I don't expect to be competitive but it looks like such a great event I had to enter. If I can experience RHC and represent the forum I'm happy

  • Hope I don't crash and die

  • Bottled it, maybe next year... about to take out a mortgage and the life insurance hasn't quite kicked in...all the best everyone ;)

  • London course starts around Phoenix Avenue/East Parkside, heads down East Parkside away from O2, turns left onto Thames Path and back through two building sites -- they're having road prepared especially for the race to ride through -- before looping back round.
That's basically the course give or take any last minute logisitc deviations.

  • Good man, handy info, cheers

  • Milltag are asking (on Twitter) for any contenders to get in touch. Possible co-sponsorship opportunity perhaps?

  • thinking about this but need to work out if i'm out of my depth ( if you have to ask.. ) what sort of av speed are people pushing to get into the last chance race?

  • I'm in, will be fun!! @Moserism from a guy i spoke to who done barcelona and train with me at Herne Hill, expect a very strong pace. Sound like you can forget any gear below 90inch.

  • Yeah from what I can tell it's 24-27mph avg pace which (if the pack is looser in a crit) is too high for me outside of a tight rotating group

  • Can you get draft/pace from a group on the qualifying run?

  • That is the range i'm expecting too and indeed tougher than during track training as bigger gap.

Oh well I have 1 month to get use to my new training gear 50X14, was tough this morning during the 25-30 laps of the first hours.

@Thuekr Don't know about draft, would like to know too.

  • Yeah, Brooklyn was 20 mins to get your fastest lap, teamwork allowed.
