Giant CFR Carbon Composite, Full Campagnolo Record

Some lovely features on this bicycle:

The frame is made from carbon tubes bonded into alloy lugs, the forks are carbon; within the first decade of first carbon bikes ever made!

It is kitted with Campagnolo Record (9spd) from the seat post to the brake callipers and down to the hubs. Only thing that isn't campy is the "stronglight" cranks.

The Rigida dp 18 rims match the aesthetic + general feel of the bike, fitted with Vittoria rubino 23mm tyres.

Fizik saddle and SRAM bar tape complete the spec.

Big ol' 63 cm frame. Aesthetically I think it accentuates the gorgeous frame design with the unique seat post binder and wishbone especially.

Rides like an absolute dream, the campy bottom bracket seems to handle any surface and condition

Has been kept in great condition with regular services and cleans

Fyi i paid £300 for my cfr pro equipped with full 600/ultegra. Granted, record is nicer and the wheels are better, but £600 is rich dude.

And why have you started a new thread, re-advertising this?

And why is Stronglight not capitalised, in inverted commas and referred to in the singular?

And what does the bottom bracket have to do with how the bike handles different road conditions?

And what is unique about the seatpost binder?

Maybe because the bolt hole diameter is eccentric in that finding a replacement for the american fitting is nigh on impossible.

To be fair I really love my CFR pro, it handles lovely, reduces buzz and feels sorta 'carvey' on the road. The frame has taken a fair bit of abuse from potholes and bunny hops without any evident ill effect. Its also pretty light and fast, and the wishbone stay is nice, because wishbone stay.
