Who were the guys that restored Chris Harris's green 911?
Francis Tuthill. They're predominantly a rally car builder and their cars are great for that, they won't win any concours events but they're not supposed to.
a white with anthracite wheels cayman gts
That will be OK, we can be friends, it's hardly a convertible Cayenne diesel. Though I'd say the manual 2.7 on the smallest wheels and skinniest tyres is the one to have.
All modern Porsches are for the customers you describe too.
Not all... The silly 4x4s and saloons fund the indulgence in the good stuff like the RSs.
And all 911s were about the triumph of good development over flawed engineering.
I know Jemery Clarkson says this, but it's not actually true, it's just a fun soundbyte. All engine positions have their drawbacks, I'd say a rear engine in a sports car is much less a flawed starting point than one hanging out over the front axle.
where the guy started from is pretty cool.
From a 964? I agree. They are cool, he should have just washed one of those and left it at that.
So you don't like it then?
I understand why people would, but, no, I don't. I would sooner sit under the stairs and poke pins in my eyes than spend fivehundylarge on one.
