Jeeze, been a year...not too much changed, mainly as I'm very happy with the set up, but thought i'd update as its been out recently.
Fitted PDW mudguards for winter duties, the road version fit fine with the 27c open paves and fork clearances. Still got a new pair of the wider version PDW's if anyone is in need?
Bit more recently fitted Di2 to see what the fuss was about, love it. Plus, I prefer the sram red on my roadie which as summer is here, I've been using a bit more until a recent accident.
So, while I'm doddering about, I've had chance to wipe this down and get a few bits tidied up to put back in service while the ribs, shoulder, etc repair.
Next move is to alleviate me of a bag on my back for a week or two. seems sensible given current physical condition to have gears, but i do have a new fixed project on the cards, so probably won't resist jumping on that and setting myself back.
Anyways, I do like the look of those BigXTop Rando bags and teamed with my BRP saddlebag would cover most light-touring needs, but for camping/longer touring and more immediately, the to-ing n' fro-ing from work, I might need a pannier option. Just need to decide on either a tubus fly, or something lowrider style upfront.
